Plato focuses on Retirement Planning for small to medium companies using qualified group benefits. He helps business owners maximize their savings and lower their taxes. He also helps individuals and families grow and protect their wealth and manage their legacy planning.
He has clients from all walks of life, including young, working, and retired individuals. He helps non-technical and very technical individuals including IT experts, engineers, scientists, medical professionals, and business professionals on tight schedules. He loves to assist people who suffered challenging events, to get them back on their feet and on with their lives. He builds and nurtures personal, long-term relationships with his clients and trusted professionals in other industries. He earns and gives many referrals.
On a personal note, Plato participates in charitable causes including various cancer organizations, care for animals and the environment. Plato Guerra was born in Lisbon, Portugal. He lived in Africa, Europe, and comes to the United States with a practical background in advertising and computer technology. Plato has been a business owner since 1982 as Art Director in Advertising, IT and Software Consultant, Technical Team Leader and Director of Technology.
Plato and his wife Lucy live in Agoura Hills with their two sons, Richard, 17 graduated from Oak Park High School in April 2010, and Alex, 22 graduated from UCSB Santa Barbara in B.Sc Marine Biology in March 2010.
Plato Guerra is a Financial Services Specialist with ICM. He is registered for securites, insurance in life/health/long term care, and is a Certified Citadel estate Planner.
In 2006 and 2007, Plato earned the Elite Financial Advisor award for high quality client service since he started on April 2, 2002. He was recognized since 2003 for Estate Planning Excellence and since 2004 as yearly Top Producer with ICM.
